Without a valid MOT test you won’t be able to legally drive your car on the road. With no MOT, you won’t be able to get insurance for your car, which means you could end up in trouble if you drive it. You need to have an MOT test done every year if your car is over three years old.

Our technicians are fully qualified to carry out the test and we have a dedicated MOT testing bay within our premises. We work to the DVSA standards and test a number of different parts of the vehicle. We’ll look at your exhaust emissions to make sure the engine and fuel system is working correctly. We’ll then inspect your tyres, brakes, suspension and wheels for any problems and, of course, all the safety aspects of your car.

Once the test is complete we’ll let you know what the outcome is – either a pass or fail. If you fail, there’s no need to worry as we can do all the MOT repair work. We’ll give you a quote for the work which will bring your car to a pass standard. If we get the go-ahead from you then we’ll start the repair and retest your vehicle.

Servicing Your Vehicle

In order to pass your MOT tests, it’s important to service your vehicle regularly. This keeps your car running and reduces the risk of needing repairs. We offer three service levels which are interim, full and major. All services include an oil change, tyre and brake checks and coolant level inspections. Depending what service you need, we’ll also do other tasks including light checks, starter motor tests and spark plug replacement.
